4-H’ers participated in Share the Fun on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the Washington County Fair. Acts ranged from singing to cheering to dancing to tickling the ivories. Twenty-four youth participated in the event for an audience gathered in the Washington Community Center.

Three acts advanced to the Iowa State Fair including Grant Hill of the 76 Progressives with his piano solo “All of Me” and Jacee Stapp an independent member with her Jazz dance “Mercy.” “Suds in the Bucket” clog routine with Emma Stout, Kaylee Vogel, MaKenna Burdock, Maddie Kleese, and Jami Tebockhorst will also represent Washington County at the Iowa State Fair. They also received the Judge’s Choice trophy sponsored by the Washington Noon Kiwanis.

Other participants included Crawfordsville Clover Kids, Addison McGuire , Grace Hiller, Shari Temple and Holly Vittetoe.

Share the Fun is a great way for 4-H'ers to share their talents on stage and entertain an audience. For more information on this communication division, please contact the Washington County Extension Office. Congratulations to everyone on a job well done!
