4-H photos flood the fairgrounds
Over 250 images were mounted by 50 4-H members on Tuesday, July 8, as part of their county fair project preparation. A special photo mounting day is held each year for all 4-H youth enrolled in photography to select mat board, size photos and mount their projects for judging day. These photos will hit the fairgrounds Saturday, July 12, for non-livestock judging.
Jodi Ebert, photography assistant superintendent, said, “We had the perfect amount of volunteers and some really good photos come across the tables today. We’re anxious to see all the other photos on Saturday.”
The photo exhibits will be on display starting Sunday, July 13 at 6 p.m. in the fair board meeting room on the upper level of the Extension Office. All other 4-H exhibits will be located on the lower level. The exhibits can be viewed Sunday 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
