Brad Lampe is a member of the Riverside Ramblers 4-H Club and a senior at Highland High School. He is the son of Dennis and Ann Lampe and he has three siblings, Brittney, Rebecca and Chelsey.
Lampe has worked in the project areas of Market Beef, Breeding Beef, Photography, and Woodworking. He is a member of the County Council and president of his 4-H Club
Among his favorite memories are the following: "The time at the County Fair when I was showing my calf and the judge brought me back into the ring, let me judge the next class, and then made me filthy rich. (He handed me a $5 bill and told me to stomp on it and put it in my pocket and said, "There, you are filthy rich!") Also winning a market beef division my first year in 4-H and winning a calf in the Calf Challenge this year at Ak-Sar-Ben.
Lampe has also participated in football, basketball, track and student council.
He plans to attend Kirkwood Community College for two years, then transfer to Iowa State University to study agricultural business.
