Greg Fritz of Fairfield, Lucy Dietzman of Keosauqua, and their mother, Winifred Fritz, attended the funeral of Bernard Redlinger, Winifred’s brother-in-law. The funeral was held in Keota on May 23. The burial was in Harper. While at the cemetery, they paid respects to the graves of Winifred’s grandparents and great-grandparents.

Ginny Brinton spent the weekend of May 24 at the home of her brother, Fritz and Nancy Gowey, in Milan, Ill.

Kellen Copeland, son of Justin and Tricia of Fairfield, celebrated his first birthday on May 25 at their home. Special guests included grandparents Greg and Deb Fritz of Fairfield, great-grandma Winifred of Brighton, and aunt and uncle Sarah and Craig Sides with Brantley of Olathe, Kan. Several other aunts, uncles and cousins were present, including a great-aunt from Cedar Rapids.

Providing the evening meal May 26 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Lucy Dietzman with Branden and Malcolm of Keosauqua, Mary Stecker with friend Joel of Fairfield, and Jane Symmonds of Fairfield.

Winifred Fritz enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood and Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, the evening of May 29.
