Murray Schooley with Felicia of Arizona visited his mother, Shirley Schooley, July 23-28. They were joined by Shirley’s son Monte Schooley with Abbie of Iowa City on July 25.
Krony Krew Bridge Club met on July 23 at the home of Sarah Robison. One table was in play. Their next meeting will be held on Aug. 13 at the home of Ginny Brinton.
Winifred Fritz enjoyed the company of her children on July 27. They included Joel and Mary Boatright of Fairfield, and Tony Fritz of Brighton with friend Lynn of North Liberty. Also present were Mary’s children, J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood and Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.
On July 21, 15 P.E.O. members surprised Alice Dickinson at the McCreedy Home in Washington. They celebrated Alice’s birthday.
Tony and Angela Garmoe, Jimmy and Christopher of Mount Pleasant were visited July 27 by their son Cody of Ottumwa and her mother, Pat Remington of Brighton.
Cody returned home on July 28. The others left for St. Louis, Mo. They enjoyed the Gateway Arch, a riverboat ride, the Anheuser Busch Brewery, the Missouri Civil War Museum, the Museum of Transportation and Grand Central Station. They also enjoyed several trips to the pool and the hot tub and just being together.
They returned home on July 31.
