Grant Schooley was in the process of moving to Louisville, Ky. He was an overnight guest of his grandmother, Shirley Schooley, the night of Aug.6.
Enjoying the noon meal on Aug. 10 at the home of Shirley Schooley were her son and her granddaughter, Monte Schooley with Abbie of Iowa City. They celebrated Monte’s birthday.
The Krony Krew Bridge Club met on Aug. 13 at the home of Ginny Brinton. Bridge was played at two tables. Their next meeting will be held on Aug. 27 at the home of Kathryn Dickinson.
Lucy Dietzman with Malcolm and Brendan of Keosauqua spent the morning and afternoon of Aug. 10 with her mother, Winifred Fritz. They were joined that afternoon by Winifred’s children Joel and Mary Boatright of Fairfield, and Tony Fritz of Brighton with friend Lynn of North Liberty. Lucy and the boys had returned home, but the others enjoyed the evening meal at Winifred’s home.

Dan and Carol Callahan left for St. Ignatius, Mont., on July 27. They attended a family reunion. They returned home on Aug. 9, after an enjoyable trip of visiting and sightseeing.
