Tony Fritz hosted an evening meal at his home on March 9. Those present included his mother, Winifred Fritz, and his sister Mary Stecker with friend Joel of Fairfield. They enjoyed playing cards that evening.
J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood visited his grandmother, Winifred Fritz, on March 10. The evening meal was provided by her children, Jane and Virgil Symmonds of Fairfield, Tony Fritz with friend Lynn of North Liberty, and Mary Stecker with friend Joel of Fairfield.
The Krony Krew Bridge Club met on March 13 at the home of Louise Frakes. Winners were Shirley Schooley, Phyllis Scheeler and Liz Gegner. Elaine Watson of Richland was a guest. They will meet again on March 27 at the home of Ginny Brinton.
Caryl Smith received word that her brother-in-law, John Collins of Burlington, died on March 4. Caryl with her son Nelson went to Burlington on March 6 to be with the family.
Tricia and Gordan Stevenson of Wisconsin stayed with Caryl on March 8-10. They attended the visitation on March 8 and the funeral on March 9.
On March 9, Caryl had overnight guests in her home. They included her cousin from Burlington, her nephew and daughter from Tennessee, and her great-nephew with his granddaughter from Colorado. She held a luncheon at her home for 12 relatives on March 10.
