Camp announces summer theme

May 10, 2013

Crooked Creek Christian Camp is excited about the theme for summer camp 2013. The “Upside Down Kingdom” is based on Matthew 6:10, “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven,” where we learn to serve others and love our enemies. Excitement is building around the ways this topic will be presented throughout the weeks of camp.

Summer camps are available for anyone currently in grades one through 11, as follows: June 10-11: first and second grades; June 12-14: third and fourth grades; June 16-21: fourth and fifth grades; June 23-28: sixth and eighth grades; July 7-12: seventh and ninth grades; July 18-21: 10th and 11th grades (new). In addition, a day camp for 5- to 6-year-olds with a grandparent or other older adult is scheduled for July 2.

Activities will include swimming, games, chapel, campfires, cookouts, water slide, climbing wall, hiking and more. Contact the camp at 319-653-3611 or <www.crookedcreekcamp.org> for more information or to sign up!
