Chapter DL, T.T.T.
Chapter DL, T.T.T., met Monday, May 13, with 17 members in attendance in the home of Marilyn Mangold. The Sword of Gold was sung and President Betty Beenblossom called the meeting to order.
The minutes were read and approved as corrected. The treasurer's report was given and approved to be filed.
Correspondence was read concerning delegates voting at the National TTT Convention in October. The delegates attending will be Lea Smothers and Virginia Tschantz. The convention will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Betty Beenblossom and Lea Smothers gave a report on attending the State Convention in Ames and thanked the chapter for sending them.
Camp girls have been contacted and members will be taking the girls shopping for supplies to take with them when camp starts on June 16. Gifts are being sent to former camp girls who are graduating from high school this year.
It was reported that the nut sales were very successful this year and the group is looking forward to another great campaign next year.
Camperships will be given to Camp Reece for two campers this summer. The group agreed wholeheartedly to lend their support to this camp.
The chapter will meet again in August with the girls telling about their week at camp.
The closing creed was given and President Beenblossom closed the meeting.
Immediately following the meeting a Founder's Day Ceremony was held in a candlelight setting.
Refreshments were served by co-hostesses Marilyn Mangold and Ella May Ruppert.
