Chapter DL, T.T.T.
Twelve members and one guest of Chapter DL, T.T.T., met Monday, Feb. 11, in the Morrison Center at Halcyon House. President Betty Beenblossom called the meeting to order and the group sang "Sword of Gold."
Correspondence was read and it was announced that Amy Ziolkowski and Kim Prier will be joining the group next month. Mike Andrews thanked T.T.T. for the gift presented to WCDC at Christmas time.
Cathy Lewis gave the treasurer's report and the yearly audit was given.
Plans are being made for sending four girls to camp this summer. It was reported that two of last year's campers had gotten together to renew their friendship and Sharon Merz said she has sent birthday cards to two of last year's campers also.
Phyllis Eisele announced the nut sales made a nice profit this year. There are still nuts for sale at a reduced cost if anyone missed the holiday sales.
The committee of Linda McNeill and Betty Beenblossom presented the changes being made to the bylaws. The group agreed to the changes and thanked the women for their time and work doing this task.
A letter from the national office was read regarding the new IRS guidelines the group is to follow.
The State T.T.T. Convention will be held in April in Ames this year. Betty Beenblossom and Lea Smothers are planning to attend as delegates from the chapter.
A motion was made to send a monetary gift to the National Project Fund.
The closing creed was said and the meeting was adjourned.
Refreshments were were served by Phyllis Eisele, Virginia Tschantz, Mary Soper, and Joy Batterson using a valentine theme.
The next meeting will be held on March 11 in the new dining room at the U.P. Home with Betty Beenblossom and Linda McNeil as hostesses.
