The Sept. 5 meeting of Chilcote Questers 1092 was held at the home of Mary Levy.
The meeting was called to order by president Virginia McCurdy, with 11 members answering roll call with “My favorite memory from this past summer.” The treasurer’s report was read by Jackie Ross. Minutes of the previous meeting were read by Pat Fritz. New program books for the new year were handed out by Mary Levy. A report was given by Jackie Ross on the group’s trip to Independence and Quasqueton on June 1. The group also discussed Washington’s 175th anniversary coming up next summer and what the members might want to do as a group. Mary Levy gave an interesting program on the history of the Frank Lloyd Wright home that the group toured this summer in Quasqueton State Park. Lots of pictures were shared with the group. Refreshments were served by co-hostess Wendy Langan.
The next meeting will be Oct. 3 at Kay Bennett ’s home, with Nita Lovick as co-hostess.
