Clint Norris

Clint Abraham Norris, age 38, of Ainsworth, Iowa, died Monday, March 13, 2017, in rural Washington County from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Federation Bank in Washington, Iowa. Clint was born June 30, 1978, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Roger and Joyce (Klein) Norris. He graduated from Highland High School in 1997.

Clint was an over the road truck driver for many years. While in high school, Clint enjoyed participating in sports. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. Clint was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Washington, Iowa and enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball and slow pitch softball. His passion in life was his two daughters, Kylie and Alexa, and he cherished the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his daughters, Kylie Elizabeth Norris and Alexa Ann Norris of Lone Tree, Iowa; parents, Roger and Joyce Norris of Ainsworth, Iowa; brother, Jeremy Norris and wife Janet of North Liberty, Iowa; brother, Anthony Norris and wife Tiffeney of Huntsville, Alabama; six nieces and nephews; Emma, Jacob and Owen Norris of North Liberty, Iowa; and Taylor, Bailey and Chance Norris of Huntsville, Alabama. Clint is survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Clint was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Klein and his paternal grandparents, Norbert “Snub” and Helen Norris.
