On Thursday, Aug. 29, Riverside Road (W61) will be closed at the bridge approximately 0.5 miles north of G36 (220th Street) for the replacement of the north bridge approach pavement.
Tek Builders Inc. of Mount Ayr, will remove the existing approach and pour a new portland cement concrete approach. This work will require a 48-hour closure of the Riverside Road at this location. There will be a marked detour route for this closure, which will use Palm Avenue, approximately 0.75 miles east of the Riverside Road intersection with G36, to allow north- and south-bound traffic on the Riverside Road to access G36.
Questions pertaining to the project should be directed to the Washington County Engineer’s office at 319-653-7731.
