Tom and Ruthella English of Washington will observe their 69th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The couple were married in Villisca on Nov. 10, 1943. They had two sons, Douglas and Robert. Both are deceased. The couple have two daughters-in-law, Susan English of Washington and Barbara English of Harlan; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No special celebration is planned at this time.
