The regular meeting of the Creative Living Department of the Washington Fortnightly Club met on March 28, 2013. Roll call was answered by 11 members with "my favorite green thing." The hostess was Pat Stout and the co-hostess, Esther Bordwell. Esther Bordwell read a poem titled "Not Old."

The program was Bob and Millie Youngquist with an assortment of Irish songs. Irish dessert cake was served.

A business meeting followed conducted by president Joleen Krotz. Members are to bring items for the Lending Hands project to the next meeting on April 25. Items such as packages of nuts, candy, dried fruit, raisins, stamps, small kleenex packs, puzzle books, note cards, and small personal items.

The next meeting will be April 25 with Julia Gamon as hostess and Janice Twinam as co-hostess. The program will be on nutrition by HyVee dietitian Ms. Weber. Roll call will be "My favorite healthy snack."
