MOUNT PLEASANT — Curtis J. Crile, 54, of Glenwood, formerly of the Trenton community, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, in Council Bluffs.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 23, at the Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Ryan Dexter officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 until 6 p.m., Wednesday at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. The family will not be present. Memorials may be directed to The Voice of the Retarded in his memory.
Mr. Crile was born Nov. 17, 1962, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Carlys J. and Darlene M. (Schantz) Crile.
He enjoyed riding the tractor with his father. He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church at Germanville.
Surviving are one sister, Janice Baumann and husband Larry of Waterloo; three brothers, Bennett Crile and wife Judy of Mount Pleasant, Bradley Crile and wife Jill of Wayland, and Marlin Crile of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Dennis Crile.
