The course will consist of six sessions and meet at the Washington Middle School on March 3 – 8. The class will meet from 3:30until 5 p.m. each school day and from 8:30 am to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Registration forms will be available at the Washington Middle School office starting on Friday, Feb. 21. The must be filled out and returned to the Middle School office by Friday, Feb. 28. A study guide for the course will be given to the student when the registration is turned in at the school. For more information contact Jim Cuddleback at 863-3091.
Iowa law requires that each student receive a minimum of 10 hours of instruction and pass both a written and gun handling test to successfully obtain a hunter education certificate. Attendance is mandatory at all sessions. Participants must be at least 11 years old to enroll in either class.
