Five-year-old Eden Levetzow of Washington was made an honorary captain when the Demon basketball teams held their Coaches Vs. Cancer night on Feb. 5. Levetzow, the daughter of Kurt and Selena Levetzow, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Jan. 14, 2009. She has been in remission for nearly three years.

"It was a lot of fun for us to see her out there,” Kurt Levetzow said. “She was a little bit intimidated to be out there on the court in front of the crowd, but she was very excited before and after the game. She is arguably the No. 1 5-year-old Demon fan."
