First in the school

Dec 03, 2012
Washington High School students Luke Brown, left, son of Stephanie and Adam Brown, Megan Pickard, daughter of Lonnie and Charlene Pickard, and Anna Holz, daughter of Pam Holz, look through the book fair being held in the school’s library. This is the first time a book fair has been held at the high school. Library director Joan Hippen said that she saw how popular the sales were in elementary levels and decided to try it at the high school. Proceeds from the event will go to purchasing new books for the library. The fair will be open through Dec. 11.
