Franklin Cubs 4-H Club
The Franklin Cubs 4-H Club met at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at the Washington County Extension Office. Six members answered roll call of “What you like most about 4-H.” The secretary’s report was given by Hunter Bell and Jameson Bell gave the treasurer’s report.
Installation of officers was completed. The new officers for the 2013-14 year are: president – Matt Moeller, vice president – Hunter Bell, secretary – Ben Schneider, treasurer – Jameson Bell, historian – Gabe Greiner, and reporter – Collin Greiner.
Members were reminded to wear their 4-H shirts on Wednesday, Oct. 9 to celebrate National 4-H week, Which is Oct. 6-12. Members were encouraged to invite friends to 4-H and to get the word out about 4-H. Online registration needs to be completed by Nov. 1. Saturday, Nov. 2, is the annual 4-H Awards night beginning at 5:30pm with a potluck.
Presentations were given by Hunter Bell on “Life Hacks” and Matt Moeller on “Building Scale Model Buildings to 1/64 scale."
The next meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. at the Extension Office.
