The monthly meeting of the Franklin Cubs 4-H Club was held Feb. 3, 2013, at the Washington County Extension office. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Cooper Reed. Roll call was to name something green.
The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were given. Amy Green was a guest. Members were reminded they needed to re-enroll online. The club was reminded that beef fair projects must be verified online with weights and the identification of their animals. Hunter Bell talked about the 4-H ELITE Survivor Day that was held Jan. 2 at the Extension office. The 4-H Fire Up had been scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Extension office for newer and junior members. The club was informed that the FSQA training would be held at the Extension office on Feb. 23 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The 4-H dodge ball tournament was scheduled for March 10, and the club was advised to watch for details. The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H pledge by Jameson Bell. Matt Moeller gave a presentation on the FFA.
The group was reminded that the next meeting would be at 5:30 p.m. on March 3.
