WEST LIBERTY — No. 11 Mid-Prairie trailed West Liberty 22-21 at halftime of Monday’s Cedar Valley Conference game, but the Golden Hawks rallied in the second half for a 43-35 victory.

Senior Jess Butters scored 11 points to lead Mid-Prairie (15-5, 11-3 CVC), and senior Erika Murphy added 10. Seniors Mariah Swartzentruber and Mallory McArtor both had 10 rebounds and five steals in the contest.

Seniors Marissa Kelly and Kristi Feldman both scored 12 points to lead the Comets (8-12, 5-9 CVC), and Feldman also grabbed 10 rebounds.
