Gollaher charged with burglary
SIGOURNEY— A hearing was held in relation to the stabbing incident in Keota earlier this month.
Thomas Edward Gollaher was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary after an alleged stabbing that took place in Keota earlier this month, a press release from the Keokuk County Sheriff’s office said.
According to Keokuk County Attorney John Schroeder, Gollaher had a preliminary hearing Monday at the Keokuk County Courthouse.
The first-degree burglary charge is the only charge currently, but more charges could be filed, Schroeder said.
“I have time to consider what other charges are appropriate,” he said.
The Keokuk County Attorney’s office will be presiding over the case, Schroeder said.
Gollaher remains in custody and his bond was set at an initial appearance in the amount of $25,000, Schroeder said.
