Helen M. Carson, 97, of Washington, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following a lengthy illness.

            Graveside services will be at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington with the Rev. Jim Stiles officiating. Memorials have been established for the M.L. McCreedy Home, the United Methodist Church or Iowa City Hospice. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.
