The Washington County Historical Society executive board met at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 23, at Conger House. President Ferd Marie presided at the meeting, with six members attending.
Conger House will be open for viewing on June 9, along with other historical sites in the county. There will be a book signing at Conger House in June for Mike Kramme’s new book on pictures of Washington at a date to be announced.
Two rooms and the hallway have been painted in the Conger House basement. New cabinets for the Indian artifacts will be constructed and a new display created later this year.
The next meeting will be held at 9 a.m. June 27, at Conger House.
