Honors given for IMS basketball

Iowa Mennonite held its basketball camp last week, from July 21-25, and handed out awards to a few of the campers.
In yesterday’s issue, the champions of each competition was listed. Below are the individual awards.
Between the ninth- and 10th-graders, Cole Yoder was named Best Defender, Jacob Von Osdol was Mr. Hustle, Finney Lackender was Best Rebounder, Reggie Borntrager was the Outstanding Camper and Ryan Slaubaugh was Mr. Fundamental.
In the eighth-grade level, Caleb Gingerich was the Best Defender, Mathyan Powell was named Mr. Hustle, Dominick Pickard was the Best Rebounder, Trevor Leyden was the Outstanding Camper and Bryce Barnett was Mr. Fundamental.
In the sixth- and seventh-grade group, Evan Horak was the Best Defender, Ethan Hunt and Luke Boyse were named Mr. Hustle, Kobe Borntrager was the Best Rebounder, Trevor Quigley and Andre Miller were the Outstanding Campers and Caleb Tanner was named Mr. Fundamental.
For the fifth-grade competition, Jackson Pennington was Best Defender, Will Cavanagh was Mr. Hustle, Lucas Kroll was the Best Rebounder, Noah Miller was named Outstanding Camper, while Kason Bailey was Mr. Fundamental.
