Horse & Pony 4-H Club
The regular meeting of the Horse & Pony 4-H Club was held on Feb. 26 at the Extension office. There were 18 members and seven guests present.
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by president Chelsea Bowlin and was adjourned at 8:05 p.m. Announcements in the meeting included the bucket bottle calf meeting Feb. 27, the March 29 Junior FSQA training for livestock showing, the March 20 photography meeting, the March 9 annual 4-H training for livestock showing, the March 20 photography meeting, the March 9 annual 4-H dodge ball tournament, and the March 15 poultry workshop. The club received a committee report over the club’s community service project, as well. Old business included membership certificates. New business included a horse word jumble, a parliamentary procedure quiz, discussion over the classes in the Washington County 4-H Horse & Pony Fun Show, the April 19 pancake breakfast, and the possibility of redoing the electrical plugs in the horse barn. The U.S. pledge was started by Kailey Martin, and the 4-H pledge was started by Austin Stalder.
The club adjourned with a presentation by Lexi Black, and refreshments were provided by Lexi Black.
