Hospice to display memorial trees
Hospice of Washington County will be displaying the Community Memorial Trees at the Washington Public Library starting Nov. 29 and throughout the month of December. Hospice staff invites you to donate an ornament of your choosing in your loved one’s memory to be displayed on the tree, this year and for many years to come. The organization has had the pleasure of receiving many ornaments that make the Memorial Trees overflowing with unique remembrances of each loved one. These include ornaments of tractors, personal photos, cardinals, Harley Davison, fishing, baking, gardening and handmade craft ornaments that are a small representation of whom they are to honor.
Ornaments will become property of Hospice of Washington County, therefore not returnable, and they will be placed on the trees year after year.
Hospice would like the ornament to indicate the person it is to memorialize, in a manner that is permanent — either on the ornament or by a securely attached tag. Please include any important information such as names or dates.
Please do not submit ornaments to the library, but bring them to Hospice of Washington County office.
Please feel free to share with anyone you think would like to participate.
