Jackson Jets 4-H Club
The Jackson Jets 4-H Club held the monthly meeting on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the extension office with a family potluck. The Curt Pacha family donated the smoked pork loin.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jack Carter. Roll call was answered with "the best Halloween costume you have worn." Twenty-seven members were present and two new members.
Record books were returned to members, as well as premium checks from the county fair were handed out. Seniors and intermediates signed up for when they would give their presentations. Members were reminded to re-enroll online for the new 4-H year. Award/Family Fun Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 2, at the extension office.
In new business, club members who are county council members were recognized. The club has decided to have an ice-skating party at a later date.
This month's outstanding member is Joceline Spenner.
The installation of new officers was held with president, Jordan Stout; vice president, Grant Marek; secretary, Addie Pacha; treasurer, Emma Stout; historian, Jack Carter; reporter, Joceline Spenner; recreation leader, Chase Litchfield; and photographer, Jacayla Litwiller.
The next meeting will be Nov. 10.
