Katlin Hora is a senior at Highland High School and a member of the Riverside Ramblers and Riverside Enterprisers 4-H clubs. She is the daughter of Pat and Traci Hora, and has two siblings, Kelsey and Mackinze.
Hora has worked in the project areas of swine and photography, and she has shown at the Washington County Fair.
"My special 4-H memory will be this coming fair where I will get to complete my final year as a 4-H’ er in the show ring with both of my sisters for the first and last time," she said.
“Others should join 4-H because of the bonding experience you get to have between you and your project," Hora said. "You learn so much just by taking care of an animal, almost to the point where that project is no longer a project, but a pet that you care about.”
She has also participated in volleyball, basketball, track, softball and National Honor Society.
Hora plans to attend Kirkwood Community College and earn a degree as a diagnostic assistant.
