The Kiwanis AM'ers met at the Washington Community Y for its weekly meeting on Nov. 30. Guests included three Builders Club members, Reece Mayer, Caleb Greiner, Denise Erpelding and Jan Rosien. Twenty-one members were present. President-elect Matt Brown conducted the meeting.
The program was given by Carol TeBockhorst from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish has 74 chapters with one located in Iowa. in 2012, the Iowa Chapter served 185 recipients.
The mid-year Kiwanis conference will be held Feb. 2 in Council Bluffs.
Jim Almelien passed around the Spaghetti Supper list of business to contact. He asked every member to contact at least four businesses before Christmas. Curt Mayer set a committee meeting for Dec. 6.

Students of the Washington High School vocal department will perform holiday songs for the Dec. 14 meeting.
Members will shop for this year's Secret Santa project beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14. The gifts will be wrapped Friday, Dec. 21 in Bill Tweeton's building. Lonny Milligan said the gifts and food donations will be delivered Saturday, Dec. 22.
