KALONA — Laverne Helen Gardner, 84, of Iowa City, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in the Iowa City Rehabilitation Center.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Parkinson’s Research.
