Lions convention to be held March 28-29 in Washington
On March 28 and 29, the South East District of the Iowa Lions Club will hold its convention in Washington. This district has 1,300 members in 53 clubs.
Friday evening’s activities will be held at the Washington Public Library. As a special treat Friday evening, the white lights around the square and the fountain lights in Central Park will be turned on from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. to highlight Washington’s business center.
International Director John Harper of Wyoming will be the guest speaker.
Fred Stark of Washington is the District Governor. He will preside at the convention.
