Washington Community Schools

Grades 6-12

Monday: Vegetable bar (served daily), beef & bean burrito or chicken quesadilla, romaine & tomato, Mexican corn salsa & whole-grain tortilla chips, fresh apple, mandarin oranges. Tuesday: Stromboli squares or corn dog, steamed corn, dressing, fresh kiwi, melon mix. Wednesday: Barbecued beef on a bun, sweet potato puffs, baked beans, fresh citrus fruit cup, spiced apples, oatmeal cookie. Thursday: Turkey & cheese sub or meatball sub, romaine lettuce & tomato, oven fries, sliced peaches, pineapple tidbits, snickerdoodles. Friday: Chicken fried steak w/gravy, or baked cod, oven-browned potatoes, steamed green beans, banana, strawberry applesauce, whole-wheat roll & jelly.

St. James

Monday: Chicken nuggets, green beans, strawberries, wheat roll. Tuesday: Super nachos, carrots & celery sticks, blushing pears, brownie. Wednesday: Italian bow-tie pasta, mixed vegetables, cottage cheese, pineapple rings. Thursday: Blueberry waffles w/syrup, sausage links, potato smiles, mixed fruit cup. Friday: Chef salad plate or macaroni & cheese, fish sticks, seasoned peas, applesauce.

Columbus

Monday: Corn dog, or cold entrée (offered daily, grades 4-12), two-potato mash, fresh fruit cup. Tuesday: Chicken fajita, refried beans, Spanish rice, applesauce cup. Wednesday: Beefy cheese nachos, corn, strawberry shortcake. Thursday: Orange chicken, rice, California blend, fortune cookie, pineapple. Friday: Hot ham & cheese on wheat bun, criss-cut sweet potato fries, grapes.

Highland

Monday: Veggie bar (served daily, MS, HS), fruit bowl (served daily, HS), chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes & cheese sauce, steamed corn, orange slices, bread & butter (HS). Tuesday: Chili & crackers, cheese (HS), cinnamon roll, celery & carrot sticks/ranch, smooth applesauce. Wednesday: Chicken fajita/WG wrap, lettuce & pepper slices, fiesta salsa & WG chips, fruit salad, Chips Ahoy (HS), shredded cheese (HS). Thursday: Turkey tetrazzini, homemade WG roll & butter, delicious peas, mandarin oranges, lettuce & dressing. Friday: Sloppy joe, WG bun, steamed broccoli, sliced apples, fruit roll-up.

Iowa Mennonite School

Monday: Cheese pizza, WG bagel, oven-baked Tri-Tater, steamed green beans. Tuesday: Greek grilled chicken salad, WW bread/butter, savory rice, apple slices w/dip. Wednesday: Barbecued pulled pork on WG bun, roasted root vegetables, steamed broccoli. Thursday: Turkey club sandwich, Mexican corn, baby carrots w/ranch, kiwi halves. Friday: Beef taco, lettuce/cheese, WC tortilla chips w/black bean salsa.

Mid-Prairie

Monday: Ham, egg & cheese on a WG bagel, oven-baked Tri-Tater, steamed green beans, fresh strawberries. Tuesday: Greek grilled chicken salad, whole-wheat bread & butter, savory rice, apple slices w/fruit dip. Wednesday: Barbecued pulled pork on a WG bun, roasted root vegetables, steamed broccoli, banana. Thursday: Turkey club sandwich, Mexican corn, baby carrots w/ranch, kiwi halves, triple berry buckle. Friday: Beef taco. lettuce/cheese, WC tortilla chips w/black bean salsa, fruit yogurt parfait, orange slices.

WACO

Monday: Chef salad (offered daily, HS), sloppy joe/WG bun, potato smiles, celery, pineapple. Tuesday: WG sausage pizza, corn, baby carrots, applesauce. Wednesday: Ham slice, twice-baked potato, cheese sauce/sour cream, broccoli, bread, cinnamon apples. Thursday: Turkey fritter/WG bun, calico beans, cucumber slices, orange wedges. Friday: No lunch.

Senior Dining

Monday: Bistro chicken breast, scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, strawberries, ice cream cup, wheat bread. Tuesday: Roast pork loin, candied sweet potatoes, steamed cabbage, wheat bread, banana, dessert. Wednesday: Turkey noodle casserole, lima beans, mixed green salad, wheat bread, watermelon. Thursday: Fish fillet/bun, baked potato, peas, fruited yogurt. Friday: Ground beef/gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots, surprise salad, cookie, wheat bread.

Wellman — Goodwin Senior Dining Center

Monday: Potluck. Tuesday: Swedish meatballs, noodles, spinach, fruit, sherbet. Wednesday: Pork roast, mashed potatoes & gravy, broccoli, strawberries & bananas. Thursday: Creamed turkey, baked sweet potato half, Oregon bean medley, banana, citrus Jell-O salad. Friday: Beef macaroni casserole, peas, spinach salad, banana.
