Washington Community High School

Monday: Vegetable bar (served daily), chicken tetrazzini or baked potato w/chili, steamed green beans, strawberry applesauce, fresh whole-wheat bread stick. Tuesday: Sloppy joe on a bun or grilled chicken sandwich on a bun, oven-baked fries, peas & carrots, hummus, fresh fruit cup. Wednesday: Baked chicken drumstick, cheesy potatoes, marinated fresh vegetable salad, fresh pear, T-roll. Thursday (Halloween): Chicken noodle soup w/wheat crackers, steamed green beans, strawberries & banana, pumpkin bar. Friday: Walking taco or taco soup w/tortilla chips, shredded lettuce & salsa, refried beans, pineapple tidbits, oatmeal cookie.

St. James Elementary

Monday: Barbecued riblet sandwich, baked beans, peach slices. Tuesday: Tempura battered chicken w/sweet & sour sauce, Chinese rice, stir-fry vegetables, pineapple tidbits. Wednesday: Turkey burger w/barbecue sauce, seasoned baby peas, fruit cocktail, corn chips. Thursday: Mummy dogs, witches’ fingers (baby carrots), goblin toes (mandarin oranges), monster pudding cups. Friday: Menu not available.

Columbus

Monday: Chicken nuggets, or cold entrée (offered daily, grades 4-12), two-potato mash, broccoli, grapes. Tuesday: Hamburger on WG bun, french fries, diced pears, sunshine bar. Wednesday: Chili Crispito w/cheese, garden salad, peaches, cinnamon roll. Thursday: Cheese quesadilla, salsa w/chips, refried beans, fresh pineapple. Friday: Pork fritter on WG bun, fresh veggie bowl w/ranch, mixed fruit.

Highland

Monday: Veggie bar (offered daily, MS, HS), fresh fruit bowl (offered daily, HS), chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes & cheese sauce, steamed corn, orange slices, bread & butter (HS). Tuesday: Chili & crackers, cheese (HS), cinnamon roll, celery & carrot sticks/ranch, smooth applesauce, fresh pear. Wednesday: Chicken fajita/WG wrap, lettuce & pepper slices, fiesta salsa & WG chips, fruit salad, Chips Ahoy (HS), shredded cheese (HS). Thursday: Turkey tetrazzini, homemade WG roll & butter, steamed peas, mandarin oranges, lettuce & ranch. Friday: No school.

Iowa Mennonite School

Monday: Ham, egg, cheese on WG tortilla, steamed green beans, peaches. Tuesday: Chicken patty on WG bun, baked Lay’s chips, baked beans, fruit. Wednesday: Cook’s choice. Thursday: Menu not available. Friday: Pancakes, sausages/eggs, hash brown potatoes, fruit.

Mid-Prairie

Monday: Chef salad w/fajita chicken, oatmeal dinner roll, 3-bean salad, peaches. Tuesday: Deli combo sandwich, Lay’s potato chips, baked beans, red pepper strips, fruit. Wednesday: Shrimp poppers, mashed potatoes, steamed corn, strawberries, whole wheat bread. Thursday: Santa Fe wrap, baby carrots & celery, applesauce, snickerdoodle cookie. Friday: Cowboy cavatini, romaine garden salad, whole-wheat roll & jelly, steamed peas, banana.

WACO

Monday: Chef salad (offered daily, HS), tenderloin/WG bun, potato smiles, celery, pineapple. Tuesday: Cheese pizza w/WG crust, corn, baby carrots, applesauce. Wednesday: Chicken strips, twice-baked potato, cheese sauce/sour cream, broccoli, bread, cinnamon apples. Thursday: Italian chicken/WG bun, white beans, cucumber slices, orange wedges. Friday: Not available.

Senior Dining

Washington Community Y

Monday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, wheat bread, tropical fruit. Tuesday: Beef patty/bun, sweet potato puffs, 3-bean salad, orange wedges, cookie. Wednesday: Ham/scalloped potatoes, lima beans, mandarin oranges, pudding. Thursday: Mummy sandwich, trick-or-treat vegetables, witch’s stew, apple wedges, black cat cake/frosted.
