Washington Community High School

Monday: Vegetable bar (served daily), cowboy cavatini or chicken tetrazzini, steamed green beans, fresh banana, whole-wheat bread w/jelly. Tuesday: Baked chicken drumstick or baked ham, savory rice, steamed corn, fresh honeydew, fresh oatmeal roll. Wednesday (1:10 dismissal; prof. development): Sloppy joe on bun, sweet potato fries, baked beans, creamy coleslaw, fresh grapes, Rice Krispie treat. Thursday: Barbecued pork rib on bun or grilled chicken sandwich, potato wedges, fresh apple, peach crisp. Friday: Lasagna, steamed carrots, tropical fruit, fresh whole-wheat garlic bread.

St. James

Monday: Breaded chicken strips, stir-fry vegetables, applesauce, corn bread square w/honey. Tuesday: Barbecued pork sandwich, baked beans, sliced pears. Wednesday: Chef salad w/fajita chicken, fruit cocktail, bread stick. Thursday: Sausage & egg on whole-grain biscuit, oven hash browns, pineapple & bananas. Friday: Crunchy beef tacos, green beans, peaches, carrot cake.

Columbus

Monday: Hamburger on bun, or cold entrée (offered daily, grades 4-12), french fries, peaches, Rice Krispie bar. Tuesday: Breakfast for lunch, orange & tomato juice. Wednesday: Taco, lettuce & cheese, refried beans, Spanish rice, applesauce. Thursday: Beefy, cheesy nachos, corn, strawberry shortcake. Friday: Corn dog, baked sweet potatoes, cucumber slices w/ranch, pears & pineapple.

Iowa Mennonite School

Monday: Beef burrito, romaine & tomato, Mexican corn, salsa & WG corn tortilla chips, apple. Tuesday: Cuban pork sandwich, baked beans, corn, lettuce, peach/orange yogurt parfait. Wednesday: Barbecued beef on a bun, sweet potato puffs, baked beans, orange, oatmeal cookie. Thursday: Turkey & cheese sub, romaine lettuce & tomato, oven fries, sliced peaches, graham snacks. Friday: Ham, egg, cheese, WG tortilla, Tri-Taters, green beans, applesauce.

Mid-Prairie

Monday: Pepperoni pizza bagel, fresh pear, spring salad mix, baby carrots w/spicy lemon hummus. Tuesday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, corn, whole-wheat bread & butter, fresh strawberries. Wednesday: Honey mustard wrap, mixed fresh fruit, fresh broccoli, Italian bean & pasta salad, applesauce cake. Thursday: Hamburger on a whole-wheat bun, marinated cucumbers, tomato slice, green & red grapes, curly fries. Friday: Cook’s choice.

WACO

Monday: Chef salad (offered daily, HS), sloppy jo/WG bun, green bean casserole, baby carrots, blueberries. Tuesday: Breaded chicken/WG bun, potato salad, grape tomatoes, peaches. Wednesday: Breaded pork, oven browned potatoes, fresh broccoli, wheat roll, fruit cocktail. Thursday: Turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, beets, bread, applesauce. Friday: Mini corn dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, grapes.

Monday: Tuna noodle casserole, Harvard beets, mixed green salad, fruit, ice cream. Tuesday: Potato soup, chicken salad sandwich, broccoli salad, fruited Jell-O. Wednesday: Roast beef, mashed potatoes/gravy, zucchini Italiano, banana pudding. Thursday: Ham balls, SC mashed potatoes, baked beans, banana/peach cup, pudding. Friday: Spaghetti w/meat sauce, spinach, bananas & oranges, bread pudding.
