Lexi Marek received the Rising Star Award which recognizes an ISA member’s son or daughter who is active at the local, state and national level and preparing to continue ag studies in college. Marek is the daughter of Tim and Heather Marek and a senior at Washington High School. She’s active in 4-H and FFA and plans to study agricultural business and minor in agriculture communications or entrepreneurship at Iowa State University.
