PACKWOOD — Pekin held off Columbus for a 54-49 win on Tuesday night.

Senior Caitlin Chaney scored a career-high 16 points for the Wildcats (1-4, 1-4 SEISC North), who lost their fourth-straight game after winning their season opener. Sophomore Kelsey Pretz added 12 points, and senior Megan Pretz had 11.

Freshman Gwynne Wright scored 16 points to lead Pekin (3-2, 3-2 SEISC North). Junior Samantha Wright added 15 points, and junior Jessica Horras had 12.
