Daniel Raymond Secrest, 61, of Washington was arrested Thursday night in the 1000 block of East Third Street in Washington on a charge of domestic abuse assault.

An officer reported being on a vehicle stop, Thursday morning at 190th Street and Highway 1 in Washington. A citation was issued to Ronnie Godinez, 24, of Washington for driving under suspension, no proof of insurance, and speeding.
An officer reported being on a vehicle stop, Thursday morning at First Street and Highway 92 in Ainsworth. Benjamin Fuller, 24, of Washington was cited for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, and speeding.
A caller Thursday night in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington reported a white Ford Explorer with a flat tire. An officer responded and got the subject assistance.
A caller Thursday night at Highway 218 and Tupelo Boulevard in Riverside reported a broken-down vehicle with flashers on. An officer responded. The vehicle was gone upon officer's arrival.
A caller Thursday morning in the 300 block of Third Street in Wellman reported the dog from a neighboring business had consistently been defecating in her yard. It had growled at her husband and had come after her son-in-law's mother. The dog was described as a gray pitbull with a bright green collar. An officer spoke with a male subject at the business and advised that if this continued, a citation would be issued in accordance with city ordinance.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 1600 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported that his neighbor's small black dog was in his yard, and just wanted it documented. An officer spoke with the male owner of the dog at the residence, and an officer spoke with the female owner of the dog at the sheriff's office.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 800 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington reported dogs had been barking since 7 a.m. Officers responded. No one was at the residence. An officer will attempt to locate the owners to issue a written warning.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 1500 block of North Highland Avenue in Washington reported a female subject assaulted him. An officer spoke with the subject. A report will be filed.
A caller Thursday evening in the 400 block of South Second Avenue in Washington reported a subject was hit in the face by her bus driver after school. An officer responded. A report will be filed.
A caller Thursday night in the 1900 block of Larch Avenue in Washington reported someone punched her son in the face several times. Officers responded. The incident was documented at that time. A report was being forwarded to the assistant county attorney to be reviewed.
Dispatch received a call Thursday night from a female subject in the 300 block of Washington Street in Ainsworth, and then the caller hung up. Officers responded. Documentation was made at that time. The incident was a verbal argument only. The male left on foot. Officers were going to attempt to locate him and speak with him about separating for the night.
A caller Thursday morning in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington reported a juvenile male was being very disruptive. An officer was dispatched. The officer was disregarded when school personnel said they got the juvenile calmed down. The caller later called back to advise the student had escalated again. The officer responded and the situation was resolved.
A caller Thursday night in the 400 block of Lincoln Street in Ainsworth reported his sister was out of control and broke a window. An officer responded and transported the female subject to Four Oaks.
A caller Thursday evening in the 800 block of Lincoln Street in Ainsworth reported an eBay scam. The subject made a purchase and they did not send the product. The caller had the transactions canceled/reversed. An officer contacted the reporting party. Documentation only was made at this time, since the subject already contacted eBay and his card company.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 1100 block of South Avenue B in Washington reported harassment via cellphones. Officers responded. A report was filed and information sent to the county attorney.
An officer Thursday afternoon in the 1600 block of Highway 22 in Wellman reported assisting Johnson County with a harassment call. The officer served a warning for criminal trespass and/or harassment to the male juvenile in the presence of his father. Any further questions are to be directed to Johnson County.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 1200 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported she was being harassed by three ninth-grade boys in regard to videos she posted on YouTube. The school had been advised and will speak with the three boys. It was not a criminal matter.
A caller Friday morning in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington reported a dark-colored car was parked behind a business. Officers responded. A dog was located tied outside. The dog catcher responded and took the dog to the pound.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington reported possible trespass at an address in Washington. A subject was there, doing work for the current owner of the property.
