Rick Owen, 49, of Lancaster, California, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 2800 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth on charges of OWI, second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, first offense, leaving the scene of an accident, and improper use of lanes.
A caller Tuesday morning at 220th Street and Riverside Road in Washington reported a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection. An officer responded. There were no damages and no charges.
A caller Tuesday night at East Sixth Street and North Third Avenue in Washington reported that her vehicle was broken down in the intersection, and requested assistance. An officer assisted the subject with getting the vehicle home.
A caller Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported an assault. Officers responded. There were no charges. Documentation was made.
Hang-up 911 calls
Dispatch reported a 911 open line, Tuesday morning in the 500 bock of Sixth Street in Kalona. An officer responded, checked the area and spoke with a subject, who advised she was fine.
A caller Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington reported harassment between two staff members, that occurred on April 1. An officer spoke with the subject. It was a civil situation. The information was for documentation only.
A caller Wednesday morning in the 300 block of J Avenue in Kalona reported harassing phone calls. An officer spoke with the caller and advised her to block the numbers on her phone or change her phone number.
A caller Tuesday afternoon in the 2100 block of 250th Street in Washington reported a vehicle was parked in the farm driveway, which did not belong there. An officer responded and was going to attempt to make contact with the owner.
A caller Tuesday afternoon in the 400 block of East Columbus Street in Crawfordsville reported his father-in-law was at his house with his tractor and was refusing to leave. The caller requested a deputy. The information was documented.

A caller Tuesday night in the 2500 block of Highway 92 in Washington reported his wallet was stolen from his locker at a job site, and requested documentation. The information was documented.
A caller Tuesday night in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported a gas drive-off and requested that an officer attempt to locate the subject and have them return and pay for the gas. An officer made contact with the subject's father. They returned and paid for the gas.
A caller Tuesday night in the 300 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington reported a 14-yer-old male took a cellphone that belonged to him and was refusing to return it, and requested an officer. The caller was gone upon the officer's arrival. It was a civil issue.
