Katelin Marie Hawkins, 20, of Ainsworth, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 100 block of East Madison Street in Washington for credit card fraud and fifth-degree theft.
Vincent Edward Smallwood, 33, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington for disorderly conduct.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday night at Spruce and 300th Street in Crawfordsville. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon that a subject punched her in the mouth. Officers responded. The caller advised no assault had occurred and the daughter was removed from the vehicle prior to officers’ arrival.
A domestic situation was reported Tuesday night in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington. The caller had removed the children from the apartment. Officers responded. Verbal only. The female subject left for the night.
All other thefts
A diaper bag was reported missing Tuesday afternoon in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington. The incident was documented.
A homeless subject was reported Tuesday evening in the 3000 block of Highway 22 in Riverside drinking alcohol from a six-pack. Officers responded.
A horse was reported on the roadway Tuesday morning in the 2300 block of Spruce Avenue in Ainsworth. The horse’s ribs were showing and it appeared not to be properly taken care of. Officers attempted to locate the owner.
A loose dog was reported Tuesday morning in the 500 block of South Third Avenue in Washington. Aaron Michael Jaspering of Washington was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.
A dog bite that occurred in Washington Monday was reported Tuesday night. Officers responded. The bite did not break the skin.
A silver van was reported backing down Madison Street from Mechanic Street in Brighton Tuesday evening with three juveniles chasing after it yelling obscenities. Officers responded. The driver of the van is a burglary victim from Batavia and he was trying to locate a suspect vehicle in Brighton. The suspects were the three juveniles who were running after the vehicle. It was turned over to Jefferson County.
