Stephanie Ann Blanchett, 34, of Cedar Rapids, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside on an Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Veronica Faye Vice, 36, of Kalona, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of Fifth Street in Kalona on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Jeremy Wayne Gatlin, 33, of Kalona, was arrested at the same time and location on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Jason Alan Sperry, 37, of Davenport, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Ainsworth on a warrant for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and drug tax stamp violation.
Justin Paul Piltingud, 32, of Ainsworth, was arrested Thursday morning in Washington County for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and drug tax stamp violation.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of Highway 1 in Kalona. One vehicle rolled. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, Kalona Quick Responders and Kalona Fire responded. One subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A caller in the 100 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon scraping his bumper on the bumper of another vehicle. The incident was documented.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Thursday morning in the 3000 block of 140th Street in Riverside. Officers were advised.
A vehicle stop was reported Wednesday morning at Dogwood Avenue and 180th Street in Wellman. Kris Alan Ruggles of Keota was cited for driving under suspension.
A truck was reported in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside pulling a trailer with tires on it that were not secured to the trailer. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the owner.
Sexual child abuse
A possible case of sexual child abuse was reported Wednesday evening in the City of Washington. The report was unfounded.
A caller in the 100 block of West Smithfield Street in Crawfordsville reported Wednesday night her ex-husband was intoxicated and causing problems at the residence. The reportedly attacked the caller and assaulted her daughter. Officers responded. Domestic abuse assault charges will be filed on Christian James Horak.
Motor vehicle theft
Officers were called Wednesday evening to the 300 block of Highway 1 in Washington in reference to a subject who was test-driving a car and had not returned it. Officers were unable to locate.
An officer was requested Wednesday morning in the 600 block of East Main Street in Washington in reference to the caller’s neighbors taking down part of her fence. Officers responded. There was a discrepancy on lot lines. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 100 block of West Tyler Street inn Washington reported Thursday morning three subjects assaulted her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend. Officers responded. Charges are pending.
A loose dog was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of South D Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with the owner.
A caller reported Wednesday afternoon a dog chased her in the 800 block of West Monroe Street in Washington and bit at her bicycle tires. Officers located the dog and attempted to catch it. The dog did not have a collar or a leash and was not friendly. The owner later returned and the City of Washington seized the dog.
A loud commotion was reported in the 900 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington Wednesday night. Officers responded and were unable to locate suspects.
All other offenses
A caller in the 600 block of South Second Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon that a subject had shown up at his residence and accused his sister of taking a flashlight. Officers responded. The parties were separated and advised to have no further contact.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 1600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday morning that her ex boyfriend wouldn’t leave her alone. Officers responded. The subject was advised to stay away. If the subject returns he could be charged with trespass.
A caller in the 600 block of Seventh Avenue in Wellman reported Wednesday morning hearing a suspicious conversation. Officers responded. Everything was fine.
