Christian Joel Horak, 45, of Crawfordsville, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of West Smithfield Street in Crawfordsville for domestic abuse assault.
Marjorie Luanne Nash, 42, of Wellman, was arrested Thursday evening in the 700 block of East 15th Street in Washington for violation of a no-contact order.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon at East Washington Street and Airport Road in Washington. Tammy Lynn Howard of Washington was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Thursday night in the 3100 block of 220th Street in Ainsworth. The incident was documented.
A caller reported hitting a deer Thursday night in the 2700 block of Highway 218 in Crawfordsville. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A vehicle reportedly crossed the centerline Thursday morning in the 800 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington. Officers stopped the vehicle. The driver was counseled.
Lowell Fredric Wagner of Wellman was cited Thursday morning in the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman for parking on sidewalk. Stuart James Netolicky of Wellman was cited at the same time and location for parking between the curb and the sidewalk.
A house in the 400 block of East Main Street in Brighton was reported filling with smoke Friday morning. The caller reported he saw no flames. Everyone was evacuated. Brighton Fire Department and Washington County Ambulance responded.
An ambulance was requested Thursday morning for a subject in the 1600 block of Highway 22 in Wellman for a 15-year-old subject who was assaulted. Washington County Ambulance and officers responded. The subject was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Charges of serious assault are pending.
All other thefts
Items were reported missing from a property in the 100 block of West Third Street in Riverside Thursday morning. It was a civil issue.
A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Thursday morning in the 700 block of East 15th Street in Washington. Officers responded. The complainant will keep written documentation of times and numbers of the calls.
A subject was reported Thursday afternoon in the 500 block of 13th Street in Wellman throwing rocks at the building and people. Officers responded and escorted the subject home.
Illegal dumping was reported Thursday morning in the 1000 block of West Monroe Street in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
Officers were requested Thursday morning to speak with a subject in the 400 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington about her dogs not being on a leash. Officers responded. A verbal warning was given.
A caller in the 3200 block of 170th Street in Riverside reported Thursday evening a dog bit him. Officers responded. The dog will be quarantined.
All other offenses
Officers reported Thursday morning being in the 200 block of East Washington Street in Washington with a bucket lift that had tipped and was partially out in the street. A subject was reported injured but did not want an ambulance. A tow truck was called to assist.
Family offense non violent
A dispute between a pedestrian and a subject in a vehicle was reported Thursday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects had worked it out themselves.
