Orion Lovegreen, 19, of Wellman, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 1500 block of First Avenue in Wellman for probation violation on possession of a controlled substance.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 2900 block of Highway 1 in Washington. The caller was advised to fill out a state accident report if the damage was over $1,500.
A grass fire was reported Wednesday morning in a ditch at Derby Avenue and 540th Street in Kalona. Kalona Fire Department responded. It was a controlled burn.
A brush fire was reported out of control Wednesday morning in the 2000 block of Yucca Avenue in Ainsworth. Ainsworth Fire and Riverside Fire responded.
Officers reported Wednesday morning being out in the 200 block of West Main Street in Washington. A report will be filed.
A bicycle was reported stolen Wednesday morning in the 400 block of South Sixth Avenue in Washington. The incident was documented.
All other thefts
Money was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Kalona Wednesday evening. The incident is under investigation.
Windows were reported broken out Wednesday morning in the 100 block of Fifth Avenue in Kalona. After repairing the windows they were broken out again. Officers responded.
A caller in the 100 block of A Avenue in Kalona reported Wednesday morning that her estranged husband placed personal information about the caller on the Internet. Officers spoke with the subject and advised him to stop.
A small girl was reported Wednesday evening in the 500 block of South B Avenue in Washington with a dog on a leash swinging the dog around the yard. Officers were unable to locate.
All other offenses
A caller in the 400 block of East Washington Street in Washington requested Wednesday afternoon to speak with an officer in reference to her boyfriend not wanting to return her house keys and car keys. Officers spoke with the caller. It was a civil issue.
A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of West Vine Street in Crawfordsville. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was unfounded.
A subject was reported locked out of her apartment in the 800 block of West Monroe Street in Washington Thursday morning. Officers responded. The subject will stay with her mother for the night.
