Samantha Rochelle Roach, 20, of Brighton, was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Brighton on Henry County warrants for failure to appear on a charge of driving under suspension and failure to appear on a charge of operating without a registration.
Daniel Kevin Christiansen, 25, of Kalona, was arrested Sunday evening at Seventh Street and Eighth Avenue in Wellman for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are pending for operating while intoxicated.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Friday morning in the 3000 block of Highway 1 in Brighton. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Friday morning that a Lone Tree bus had struck a deer Thursday evening at South Highway 1 and Washington in Washington. The incident was documented.
An accident was reported Friday afternoon at Sixth Street and C Avenue in Kalona. Norma Nisly of Kalona was cited for failure to yield to the vehicle on the right.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of West 15th Street in Washington. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, Washington County Rescue and Washington Fire Department responded. Alexander Dehogues of Kalona was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
A caller in the 600 block of Fifth Street in Ainsworth reported Sunday afternoon that his wife fell off the back of his four-wheeler and hit her head on concrete. The wife was transported by private vehicle.
A subject was reported hauling turkey manure in the City of Wellman and the contents were slopping out of the truck. Officers responded.
Breanna Lynne O’Leary, 33, of Wellman, was cited Saturday evening at Eighth Avenue and Highway 22 in Wellman for driving under suspension.
An erratic driver was reported Sunday morning in the City of Crawfordsville. Officers responded. The subject was looking for his dog.
A grassfire was reported Friday afternoon at Highway 1 and 170th in Kalona. Kalona Fire Department responded.
A field fire was reported Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of 310th Street in Brighton. Richland Fire Department responded. The fire was extinguished.
A controlled burn was reported out of control Friday evening in the 2800 block of Kiwi Avenue in Washington. Brighton Fire Department responded.
Kalona Fire Department was requested Saturday morning at SW 540th and Sharon Center Road in Kalona for a ditch fire. It was a controlled burn.
Riverside Fire Department was requested Saturday night at Highway 22 and Wapello Avenue in Lone Tree for mutual aid. The fire was extinguished.
A controlled burn reportedly jumped a ditch Sunday afternoon at 190th and Willow Avenue in Ainsworth and was on the neighbor’s land. Ainsworth Fire Department responded.
Subjects were reported on four-wheelers in the grass field at Hemlock in Wellman who requested she call the fire department for a controlled burn that had gotten out of control. Wellman and Kalona fire departments responded.
A caller in the 500 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported Sunday afternoon that his 14-year-old son appeared to have been assaulted, but was refusing to say what happened. Officers responded.

A caller in the 2100 block of Hemlock Avenue in West Chester reported Sunday afternoon locating possibly stolen road signs. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 100 block of West Columbus Street in Crawfordsville reported Sunday evening that someone had over used his debit card. Officers spoke with all parties.
A vehicle in the 300 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington was reported egged Friday morning. The incident was documented.
An officer reported Friday afternoon being at a residence in the 800 block of South C Avenue in Washington due to criminal mischief. Damage was reported to a door. Officers contacted the parents.
A caller in the 200 block of West Main Street in Washington reported Friday morning that he and another subject were threatened during a court hearing. Charges will be filed on Dale Raymond Rotzinger of Richland for two counts of harassment.
A caller reported Saturday afternoon a subject had threatened him at Hayes Timber in Washington. Charges will be filed on Jasmine Rose Bartrow, 18, of Washington.

A raccoon was reported Friday morning in the 200 block of West River Street in Riverside. Officers responded. The animal was removed.
A loose dog was reported Friday morning in the 200 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A dog that wasn’t being cared for was reported Saturday afternoon in the 1000 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington. The owner was given one week to ensure the dog had proper food, water and shelter.
A caller in the 700 block of 12th Avenue in Wellman reported Sunday afternoon that a dog bit his son and the skin was broken. Officers responded. Tammy Lee Vest of Wellman was cited for allowing a dog to run at large. A 10-day confinement form was given to the owner due to the owner not being able to provide current vaccination tags.
A caller in the 300 block of Third Street in Wellman reported Sunday afternoon that a subject had abused his dog in front of witnesses. Nelson Glen Overholt was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.
