Shawn Norris, 28, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington for trespass.
Alan Jeffrey Swack, 48, of Coralville, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 300 block of C Avenue in Kalona for assault, trespass and harassment.
Jacob Allen Ray, 21, of Kalona, was arrested Tuesday night in the 100 block of B Avenue in Kalona on a warrant for OWI and no valid driver’s license.
Amy Nichole Vazquez, 33, of Kalona, was arrested Tuesday night in the 100 block of C Avenue in Kalona for possession of a controlled substance marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
Kristopher Ennen, 24, of Washington, and Konnor Meth, 21, of Washington, were cited for disorderly conduct Aug. 5 at South Marion Avenue and West Washington Street in Washington.
Angela Rose Beggs of Crawfordsville, was cited Monday for dog running at large.
A single-vehicle accident was reported at the ramp of Highway 92 and Highway 218 in Ainsworth Tuesday afternoon. The caller reported grease had been spilled on the roadway and caused him to wreck his motorcycle. Officers responded. A report will be filed.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 1000 block of Highway 1 in Kalona. Officers responded. Over $1,500 damage was reported. Ethel Bontrager of Kalona was cited for driving the wrong side of a two-way highway.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 1100 block of east Washington Street in Washington. Chris Colliver of Keota was cited for improper use of lanes.
A caller reported Tuesday afternoon that a subject was tailgating him at 320th and Coppock Road in Washington. Officers spoke with both parties. Conflicting stories. The incident was documented.
Subjects were reported burning a chair and other items in their yard in the 600 block of West Jefferson Street in Washington Tuesday night. Officers responded. The subject was advised of the ordinance.
A caller in the 500 block of Highway 1 in Washington requested an officer Tuesday afternoon to review a video of a shoplifting incident. Officers responded. Two subjects were banned. No charges per the manager’s request.
All other thefts
Items were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of North D Avenue in Washington Wednesday morning. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Washington requested to speak with an officer Tuesday afternoon in reference to a subject threatening the caller. Officers spoke with the caller and attempted to contact the other party.
A dog was reported tied to a tree in the 900 block of East Second Street in Washington Tuesday afternoon in violation of a city ordinance. This has been an ongoing problem. Officers responded and made a family member aware of the ordinance.
A bat was reported in a residence in the 100 block of North Boise Street in Riverside Tuesday evening. Officers were unable to locate.
All other offenses
A caller in the 700 block of Sixth Street in Kalona reported Tuesday morning receiving information of a subject at Kalona Elementary at the playground with no where to go. Officers responded. The subject was transported to HACAP.
Family offense non violent
Bryttany Latia Harrill, 16, of Washington, was cited Wednesday morning in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington for interference with official acts, curfew, and assault on a peace officer.
A car was reported sitting along the roadway in the 2100 block of 180th Street in Washington Tuesday morning with a lot of rear end damage. Officers responded. Subjects were sleeping inside the vehicle. They advised they had run out of gas and were waiting for a friend to return with some.
Officers reported Wednesday morning being out with a vehicle in the 3200 block of Highway 1 in Brighton. Subjects were camping on the Skunk River.
A welfare check was requested on a subject in the 100 block of Westview Drive in Washington Wednesday morning. Officers responded the subject was
