Sara Nicole Young, 23, of Kalona, was arrested Thursday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A vehicle at East 15th Street and North Highland Avenue in Washington reportedly appeared to have been struck Friday morning. Officers were advised. No one was around the vehicle.
All other thefts
Keys were reported stolen out of a locker in the 1000 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington Thursday morning. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 700 block of East Third Street in Washington reported Thursday afternoon that someone came into the house and took stuff. Officers responded. Nothing was taken from the residence.
A sex offender registry was reported Thursday afternoon in the 300 block of East Second Street in Washington. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 700 block of East Third Street in Washington reported Thursday afternoon going to a residence that he is supposed to be moving into and finding personal items belonging to someone. The landlord advised the house should be ready to move into.
A possible intoxicated subject was reported walking at East Washington Street and South Fourth Avenue in Washington Friday morning. Officers were unable to locate.
All other offenses
A subject was reported walking in the 2500 block of Highway 1 in Washington and had been on and off the roadway. Officers responded. The subject was walking to California. He was advised to only walk on the shoulder and not the travel portion of the roadway.
A subject was reported yelling Friday morning in the 300 block of West Main Street in Brighton. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
Family offense non violent
An officer was requested Thursday afternoon in the 1200 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington due to a fight going on between the caller’s daughter and son-in-law. Officers responded. Verbal only.
A caller in the 100 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington reported Thursday evening locating a suspicious item. Officers responded. Nothing suspicious. The item was thrown away.
A subject was reported Thursday night in the 900 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington yelling and acting suspicious. Officers responded. Verbal only. The incident was resolved.
Officers were requested Thursday afternoon in the 700 block of North C Avenue in Washington regarding an issue with a local business owner. Officers responded. It was a civil issue.
