Donta Michael Lindsey, 30, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for public intoxication.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon at 14th Street and E Avenue in Kalona. Kalona QRS and Kalona Fire Department responded. Kurt Schnoebelen was cited for failure to stop at a safe and assured distance.

A caller in the 200 block of Franklin Street in West Chester reported Thursday morning that the mayor of West Chester was calling his employee to complain about where he was parking. Officers spoke with the caller. It was a civil issue.
A caller in the 900 block of South 11th Avenue in Washington reported Thursday afternoon a subject was harassing her and her daughter. Officers spoke with the subject and advised him to have no further contact.
Subjects were reported fighting and yelling Thursday evening in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. It was alcohol-related.
