Arrests

Donta Dmichael Lindsey, 30, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for going armed with intent and disorderly conduct.

Trevon Fenton, 19, of Washington, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for assault with a dangerous weapon, serious assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

Terry Arshun Randle, 32, of Washington, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington on warrants for going armed with intent and disorderly conduct. He is also wanted out of Johnson County for contempt refusal/failure to pay fines or costs in reference to assault causing bodily injury.

Bryan Scott Willers, 37, of Washington, was arrested Friday afternoon on Highway 92 in West Chester for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Milton Amado Nunez-Lopez, 26, of Iowa City, was arrested Friday evening in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside for OWI and no driver’s license.

Jordan James Bell, 19, of Washington, was arrested Saturday morning in the 500 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington for striking an unattended vehicle.

Ryan Adrian Robbins, 26, of Riverside, was arrested Saturday morning in the 300 block of St. Mary St. in Riverside for operating while intoxicated.

Trevon Demone Fenton, 19, of Washington, was arrested Thursday evening in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington for first-degree burglary.

James Kenneth Humphrey, 30, of Washington, was arrested Sunday evening in the 600 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington for simple assault.

 

Charges filed

Charges were filed Thursday morning on Jamouri Shontez Stringer, 17, of Washington for disorderly conduct. He was later charged in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington with disorderly conduct.

Donta Dmichael Lindsey, 30, of Washington, was charged Thursday morning in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington with disorderly conduct. He was later charged Thursday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for going armed with intent and disorderly conduct.

Terry Randle, 32, of Washington, was charged with disorderly conduct and going armed with intent.

Kimberly Ann Good, 42, of Marion, was arrested Saturday night at Highway 218 and G36 in Ainsworth for OWI and open container.

William Lyle Morgan, 24, of Washington, was arrested Sunday morning in the 800 block of East Madison Street in Washington for public intoxication.

 

Traffic accidents

A pickup reportedly struck a parked vehicle Friday morning in the 200 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington. John Swartzendruber of Wayland was cited for failure to maintain control.

Tires reportedly fell off a semi trailer and disabled two vehicles Friday morning in the 2600 block of Highway 22 in Riverside. Officers responded.

An accident was reported Friday afternoon on Highway 218 and 265th in Ainsworth. Officers responded.

A single vehicle accident was reported Sunday evening in the 1100 block of Ginkgo Avenue in Wellman. A vehicle reportedly struck the bridge. One subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. No citation was issued.

 

Disabled vehicles

A vehicle was reported parked in the 200 block of South D Avenue in Washington Saturday morning and it had not moved since Tuesday. Officers responded.

 

Traffic other

A subject was reportedly driving around a motorized scooter very fast in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Brighton. Aaron Williams was cited for no proof of insurance, operating a motorized vehicle without a driver’s license, and operating a non-registered vehicle.

Two vehicles were reported parked in the 1500 block of North Second Avenue in Washington and had not moved in 10 days. Officers responded.

A subject had reportedly been riding a 4-wheeler all over the City of Brighton Sunday afternoon. Officers were advised.

Tire tread was reported on Highway 218 at milepost 77 in Riverside Sunday evening. The caller said he ran over it and it damaged his spoiler. Officers responded.

A vehicle was reported blocking the roadway Sunday night at South D Avenue and Van Buren Street in Washington. Officers responded.

 

Fire calls

A fire was reported Friday night in a yard in the 500 block of West Fifth Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects were burning wood. No problem.

 

Assault

A 911 call was received Saturday night on Highway 78 east of Coppock from a subject who sounded as if she was in a physical domestic dispute. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

A caller in the 2900 block of Highway 1 in Washington reported Sunday evening her estranged husband assaulted her. Officers responded. The caller did not wish to pursue charges.

A caller in the 1200 block of Maple Avenue in Kalona reported Sunday night that her fiancé had assaulted her. She had injuries, but refused medical attention. Her 13-year-old son was also injured. The male subject called in and reported the altercation was verbal. Officers spoke with all parties. Information was turned over to the county attorney’s office.

 

Drug/narcotics violations

An officer reported Saturday afternoon being out in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington. Charges are pending.

 

Burglary

Charges of first-degree burglary were served Friday night on Trevon Demone Fenton, 19, of Washington in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington.

 

Fraud

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported Friday morning in the 100 block of First Street in Kalona. The incident was documented.

 

Shoplifting

Cited Saturday evening in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington for fifth-degree theft were: Clint Austin Bodkins, 16, of Washington; and Austin Keith Kirky, 14, of Washington.

 

Vandalism

Vandalism was reported to a vehicle Saturday morning in the 100 block of Green Meadows Drive in Washington. Officers responded.

 

Intimidation/harassment

A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Saturday evening that his brother was harassing him. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.

A caller reported Sunday afternoon that a neighbor was threatening her grandchildren and swearing at them. Officers responded. Caller and family were advised stay off the neighbor’s property and not play in the street.

 

Disorderly conduct

A caller in the 1200 block of Maple Avenue in Kalona reported Sunday night that a subject agreed to stay outside their residence and he had broken a window and yelled at her. Officers responded.

A caller in the 900 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported Monday morning that her cousin may be on his way over and there may be a fight. Officers responded.

 

Liquor law violations

Cory David Randall, 24, of What Cheer, was cited Saturday evening at West 18th Street and Highways 1 and 92 in Washington for open container.

 

Trespass

A caller in the 1200 block of Fir Avenue in Wellman reported Sunday evening that a subject was leaving her residence when she came home and he was not supposed to be there. Officers spoke with the caller. Information was passed on to the investigator. The incident was documented.

 

Animal complaints

A barking dog was reported Saturday afternoon in the 1300 block of East Third Street in Washington. Officers responded.

A loose dog was reported Saturday afternoon in the 700 block of Highland Court in Washington. Officers responded.

A bat was reported Saturday evening in the 200 block of East Third Street in Washington. Officers responded.

Barbara Jessica Lee Adams, 31, of Washington, was cited Saturday night in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington for allowing a dog to run at large.

A barking dog was reported Sunday morning in the 1300 block of East Third Street in Washington. Officers responded.

Sonya Nicole Adams, 33, of Iowa City, was cited Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington for not taking care of a dog.

 

DP&Q

A group of juveniles was reported on the bandstand in Central Park in Washington Sunday night making a lot of noise. Officers responded. The subjects had moved on.

Subjects were reported outside in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington Sunday night being loud. Officers responded.

Fireworks were reported going off Sunday night in the 400 block of East Madison Street in Washington. Officers located subjects with a bon fire. They were advised of the complaint.

 

All other offenses

A wallet was reported missing Friday afternoon in the 2200 block of Nutmeg Avenue in Washington.

A caller in the 200 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Sunday night that a neighbor had a bright spot light shining into their bedroom window. Officers responded.

 

Suspicious activity

Suspicious items were reported Friday afternoon on the basketball court in Sunset Park in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.

A caller in the 300 block of West Second Street in Washington presorted Friday night that a juvenile rang his doorbell and then ran down an alley. Another juvenile was standing on the sidewalk and denied any affiliation. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

Suspicious activity was reported Saturday morning in the 1000 block of Tupelo Blvd. in Riverside. Officers responded.

A used syringe was reported found Saturday afternoon in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded.

 

Welfare check

A caller in the 3300 block of Redwood Avenue in Wayland reported Friday afternoon that his two daughters were with their mother for visitation and visitations were supposed to be supervised. They were there alone. Officers responded. The daughter didn’t want to be there and the mother was stopping her from leaving. The homeowner was present and there was no problem.
