Daryl Devonte Cole, 18, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington for failure to appear for initial appearance on an original charge of possession of alcohol underage.
A backing accident was reported Tuesday morning in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington. Over $1,500 damage was reported. Frances Jean Cousins of Washington was cited for unsafe backing.
A caller reported being in an accident Tuesday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington and reported his head hurt. He refused medical attention. Officers responded. Jonathan Gomez was cited for failure to stop at a safe an assured distance.
Smoke was reported coming from a building in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington Tuesday morning. Washington Fire Department, Washington County Ambulance and officers responded. No fire.
A possible scam was reported Tuesday evening in the 100 block of 11th Street in Wellman. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon the neighbors had a small dog that had been tied in the sun all day. Officers spoke with the owner. The owner had put the dog outside for a few hours and took the dog back inside.
A barking dog was reported Wednesday morning in the 1600 block of Country Club Road in Washington. It is an ongoing issue. Officers responded. No dogs were barking.
A caller in the 500 block of South Eighth Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday evening that there were subjects in her back yard. Officers responded.
A juvenile reportedly walked away from the behavioral learning center Tuesday morning in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington. Officers located the subject and returned him to school.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday morning on a subject in the 600 block of West Madison Street in Washington. The subject was not at the residence.
